Students in the center of attention
People are the most important part of any university. Currently, 23,817 students, 307 doctoral students and 477 people at the Doctoral School study at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, at 13 faculties and three branches, under the supervision of 2,198 academic teachers. We also have 1,223 foreign students from over 60 countries around the world.
We teach at the highest level
Students can choose from 60 different fields of study at the first and second cycle of studies, a large part of which is conducted in English. Our educational offer allows you to learn both according to standard programs and as part of individual courses of study. We maintain contacts with many teaching and research institutions in the world, implementing the double diploma procedure.
Currently, cooperation agreements cover 205 partners from 49 countries. Students and academics of Wrocław University of Science and Technology have the opportunity to learn and participate in joint projects, such as: Erasmus+, Student Exchange Program, Double Degree Master Program T.I.M.E., Polish-American Fulbright Commission, DAAD.

Strength in numbers
We are one of the largest employers in Wrocław.
A large part of our graduates find employment already during their studies, and 70% of them no later than three months after receiving their diploma.
Wrocław University of Science and Technology graduates rank second in Poland in terms of median earnings.
In recent years, we have allocated several hundred million zlotys for the purchase of research equipment, machines and apparatus.
Every year we sign new cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign companies as well as scientific and local government units. The closest partners of the university include: Volvo, Nokia, Microsoft, IBM, KGHM, LG and Credit Suisse.
We have signed cooperation agreements with European universities, on both American continents, in Asia, Africa and even Australia.

Why is studying in English attractive?
In companies of many industries, English is the primary language of communication, the sooner you master the industry terms in this language, the easier it will be for you to find yourself in a new job. Excellent knowledge of the language opens up opportunities for internships, apprenticeships, exchanges and study trips to foreign companies and universities, and in the long run also for employment abroad – if you would like to try it. Some interesting facts
Wrocław University of Science and Technology was established in 1945, mainly thanks to the involvement of researchers from the now defunct Lviv University of Technology and the Jan Kazimierz University in Lviv, who developed the destroyed buildings of the German Higher Technical School – Technische Hochschule.
Today, we continue the tradition of these eminent Polish universities and develop in close cooperation with the leading enterprises of Lower Silesia. We are one of the largest and best technical universities in the country, we regularly occupy top positions in national rankings.
