Subject description:
Students learn about analog and digital technology, computer architecture and the secrets of IT project management. There are also issues related to the legal and ethical aspects of information technology. The studies show the diversity of its applications in technical, economic or biomedical systems. They teach methods of data collection and processing, the basics of decision-making – control, artificial intelligence methods and expert systems. Computer science is complemented by knowledge of physics and mathematics, extended by the basics of management, finance and social communication. The already acquired knowledge and skills can be developed and specialized in second-cycle studies, choosing one of the proposed specialties.
Students are educated in:
- Solving complex IT tasks using the latest advanced IT techniques
- Solving tasks related to modeling, analysis and decision making for various types of objects
- Designing and developing IT systems in various areas of IT applications
